Music is the one truly global language
and it has its roots in many different
cultures. What unites them is the unique
encounter between artist and audience.
For me to take part in these magic
moments - regardless of whether I
play ambient music, perform my own
Concerto for Trumpet or play my
Typhoon Organ - and to be able to
live life as an independent artist and
musician is the greatest privilege
I can think of.
