Salomon Helperin Yiddish Salsa Band
"Lé Chaim"
Salomon Helperin Yiddish Salsa Bands first
album "Lè Chaim" – To Life.
A yiddish cocktail of different tastes from
the jewish world. Klezmer - of course, but
mainly original compositions by the group
members. The material is not mainly "jewish
party music", with a lot of uptempo klezmer,
but more of relaxed concert music with a touch
of "jewish ambient filmscore".
Recorded 2005. Producer: Salomon Helperin

Hot Yiddishe Music
19 tracks remix from 78:s
The material on this CD originates from the
Dalle Schlossman-Collection in Gothenburg,
Sweden. In remembrance of him and his wife Esther. "Alvechollem".
For Jewish people and others around the world,
Yiddish music and Yiddish culture is a golden
treasure to enjoy. American show business has
taken great impression from the old east
european jewish folk tradition.
This CD hopefully represents both the light and
the deeper emotional parts of yiddish music.
