I present to you a mix of today’s Jewish music.
The word “salsa” in the orchester name is a real description
of goods. In other words, we play a miscellaneous mix from
different jewish music traditions. Besides traditional klezmermusic
we play our own songs on Concerts and Festivals. In most cases
, based from both the yiddish / askenasie and sefardic / arabic
tradition. We also give workshops. I have the benefit of playing
together with some of Europes best musicians. They all have
a big musical range and a true joy of playing. This, mixed
with both a personal and professional attitude, makes it a
real pleasure for me, to be the conductor in this eminent and
inspiring orchestra. The basic lineup, besides my self on trumpet,
shofar, zorna and keyboard are, Per Svenner-drums, Camilla
Astrom-accordion, Daniel Weidin-bass and Jonatan Jonsson-clarinet.
